The need for a Website for Igbomina People
of Kwara State
All over the world, the internet has become the fastest, most readily available library, where information is stored and accessed.
In different parts of the world, nations and ethnic groups have articulated their history, culture and norms in such a way that their composite identity could be defined, challenges identified, assistance sought for, development harnessed and clarion call made to children, kith and kin all over the world.
The common experience of the Igbomina people of Kwara State is such that if concerted effort is not made to bring this to popular awareness of the people from the area, no meaningful changes and development would be elicited.
It is within this framework that Livingprojects Media Network is embarking on an epochal mission of creating www.igbominaland.org , a historical cum cultural website on the Igbomina people of Kwara State .
The website will articulate the potentials and opportunities in Igbomina land, the challenges and successes of the people, the history, customs, norms and values of all the towns and villages in the ambience, and the achievements and contributions of her children to the Nigerian project and the world at large.
